SPL Qure EQ 9738
The SPL Qure is the ultra flexible and quiet SPL stereo parametric equalizer. It has three separate bands for each channel, individually adjustable for the desired frequency, slope, and level. It is a two channel unit featuring tube saturation and EQ. Balanced inputs and outputs with input level trim and output gain control. Each band, level control, and filter has a hard bypass switch, plus a master bypass for the whole unit for quick comparisons to flat signal pre and post EQ. The proportional-Q principle provides precise control over a frequency range, from 15Hz to 21kHz, while the low noise level of -99dB (A-weighted), and the enormous dynamic range of 113dB make the Qure ideally suited for mastering and cutting. A 12AX7 tube is used as well as LCR circuitry to create the unique, adjustable tube buffer for dealing with digital harshness and vocals placement. Pricing is for the standard unit as illustrated. As standard, the input and output stages are transformerless, but Lundahl input and output transformers may be specified as an option. This unit will provide top quality analog control of EQ functions either pre or post DAW.
