                                             Diva

The Avid Diva turntable uses many of the unique design elements of the much acclaimed Acutus table at a very affordable price by high-end standards. The Diva is a belt driven, highly isolated design featuring a modular spring suspension housed in stainless steel pods. The subchassis is comprised of cast aluminum and stainless steel components. Built to the same standards as the Acutus turntable and incorporating a similar clamping, suspension and bearing systems design, the Diva offers amazing performance. Not a table for the vinyl novice, the Diva is a complex design requiring extensive set-up. It is designed to accomodate the famous Rega RB300 tonearm, although it can also be ordered with SME tonearms.

Vibration caused by the stylus during playback is transmitted to the subchassis directly through the bearing and not absorbed into the platter. This is achieved using a unique matting material and clamping system. External vibrations are isolated by the unique Avid suspension system. A purpose designed external electronic power supply coupled to an Avid high torque motor, againclad in stainless, drives the heavy machined subplatter and platter assembly.

Design features include:

Separate electronic power supply

High torque drive motor

Belt driven and speed selectable (33 1/3 & 45 rpm)

Unique tunable suspension, adjustable from above

Aluminum/stainless chassis construction and heavy machined platter

Accepts Rega and SME tonearm assemblies (A Rega RB300 tonearm is shown here in the top photo and SME in the bottom photo)
