 The Avid Volvere turntable uses many of the unique design elements of the much acclaimed Acutus table at a more affordable price. In brief this is a belt drive, sprung subchassis design. Built to the same standards as the Acutus turntable and incorporating a similar clamping, suspension and bearing systems design.

Vibration caused by the stylus during playback is transmitted to the subchassis directly through the bearing and not absorbed into the platter. This is achieved using a unique matting material and clamping system. External vibrations are isolated by the unique Avid suspension system. A purpose designed on-board electronic power supply coupled to a high torque motor, drives the heavy 5kg platter.

2 speed electronic power supply (33 1/3 & 45 rpm)

Unique tunable suspension, adjustable from above

Tungsten carbide/sapphire bearing assembly

Aluminum chassis construction and one-piece heavy platter

Accepts Rega and SME tonearm assemblies (SME is shown here)
