The Saturn is a remote controlled top loading CD player of extraordinary quality. It's sound is now the better of the previous Rega Jupiter and it improves on the Apollo by using a pair of the Apollo's amazing DACs in dual differential mode. Rega has againrevolutionized digital sound by making their very high resolution, yet very smooth sounding CD players even more resolving and dynamic. The new levels or realism and depth of bass provide audiophiles and music lovers with fantastic performance, while the fully discrete, class A output stages allow the ability to listen all day without fatigue. The latest Saturn CD player improvements result in a musical statement that rivals and in some ways even surpasses the most advanced analog systems. The Saturn also features a heavy, aluminum faceplate and heat sinking beneath the solid extruded aluminum chassis. The feet have also been adorned with aluminum capitals. The supplied remote control will also operate the Rega Cursa 3 preamp or Mira 3 integrated amp and the Rega Radio 3 tuner.
The Rega Radio 3 AM/FM tuner is a wonderful sounding unit with a great modern design, which integrates well within the Rega system. Simple to operate, it features 12 station presets which are controllable with the Rega Solar remote control or on the front panel. It also features fine tuning between the normal steps in the bands for perfect tuning in any area. Capable of performance on par with the Rega amplifiers, it is an easy recommendation to complete your high fidelity system.
Finally, the long awaited Rega DAC is here and is in stock at Uptown Audio! This unit features much of the technology used in the excellent Rega Saturn and the Rega Isis CD players. The Rega DAC is a 24/192 capable D/A converter with 4 PCM digital inputs for CD quality or high resolution files streamed from a computer, a dedicated music server, or other sources such as a satellite receiver, DVD or universal player. It also has an asynchronous USB input capable of CD quality sound for convenience from computer sources.
