Rega has developed and recently released improved versions of their high fidelity electronics line to compliment it's world class turntables. The resulting amplifier designs are the Cursa3 preamplifier and the Maia3 stereo power amplifiers. The latest versions have seen improvements in power output, sound quality and aesthetics. The Cursa 3 preamplifier is a remote controlled linestage with the option of installing a high quality Rega internal phono stage. The Cursa3 offers a superbly open and transparent window onto the musical stage. The supplied remote control will also operate the Fabulous Rega Planet CD player and the Rega Radio tuner. A newly designed volume control and shortened signal paths offer even greater resolution and transparency in this 3rd generation preamp. Additionally available are the Rega Fono MM and MC external phono stages for use with any preamplifier. The Fono comes with a separate power supply and offers exceptional sound quality from your record collection.

For the very best performance from the finest moving coil cartridges, Rega offers the Ios reference phono stage. The Ios features selectable cartridge loading and gain in a dual mono configuration, all laid out in Regas full sized cast aluminum chassis.

The Maia 3 amplifier is a third generation, 85 wpc stereo power amplifier that utilizes a pair of toroidal transformers. The Maia3 produces vivid imaging and rich tonal textures from a very quiet background. Warm enough for very revealing speaker systems, it is also refreshingly clear and open. It easily possesses enough drive capability to drive difficult loudspeaker loads to realistically dynamic levels. It is even suited for bi-amping using the Rega Mira integrated amplifier with matching gain levels.

For the ultimate in bass response, dynamics, resolution and control the Exon monoblock amplifiers are a perfect partner for the Cursa3 preamp in a top-end Rega system. The latest Rega Exon3 monos deliver 125 watts each from a massive dual power supply and Sanken 200 watt output transistors. The Exon 3 is a high performance symmetrical circuit power amplifier housed in the new Rega built extruded aluminum case with a full width heat sink. Rega has improved on the original Exon power amplifier but still kept the same level of sonic performance and synergy as the original Exon. The Exon amplifiers are fully system compatible with other Rega components for easy system expansion and upgrade.
