The ReVox Exception components are a state of the art line of stereo components without limitation. They possess all of the qualities associated with the rich engineering pedigree of their native Switzerland from the carefully thought-out design to the fine craftsmanship to the exceptional attention to detail, the ReVox Exception high fidelity equipment exudes quality. The chassis are assembled from 35 pieces of precision aluminum extrusions in an elegant black and silver design to fit any decor or existing system color.
The Exception series consists of a CD player, a tuner and an integrated amplifier. The ReVox Exception E450 amplifier is extremely powerful and free from distortions. It offers multi-room expansion capabilities and a link with other ReVox Exception components for a very intuitive and user friendly ease of operation. A touch screen, programmable remote is standard. The E450 also has balanced input connections for it's companion E426 CD player as well as a set of single-ended inputs for connection of more modest players. A separate preamplifier output is included for additional systems if more than the four speaker capability from the on-board A+B speaker system selection is required. A rare feature in a top of the line high-end amplifier, a set of tone controls are also included for precise adjustments without coloration or distortion. A large digital display is easily read from across the room.
The ReVox Exception E426 CD player is an absolute pleasure to listen to and features a bitstream DAC. Having both digital and analog outputs, it is capable of being connected to several types of systems at once. Both balanced and single-ended analog outputs are included. A superbly well designed top-loading transport is used to spin the discs while a top quality DAC and analog stage provide exceptionally musical results. Separate power supplies keep the analog and digital sections completely independent down to their own transformers. All ReVox Exception components feature true standby circuitry.
The ReVox Exception E460 tuner is simply one of the very finest available and equally as capable as its high fidelity partner amplifier and top loading CD player. Cosmetic design is absolutely stunning and timeless. From high quality aluminum, no fewer than 35 parts are hand assembled by skilled craftsmen to create the ReVox Exception housing alone! Inside each of these stately housings resides a fantastic level of electronics engineering and quality to provide first-class sound.
